[ It's been a horrible morning, so far. A horrible few days, really. She's been... distracted, lately. The closer it is to the 26th, the worse it became. And over something so trivial, too.
Or at least, for some people. Yulia isn't some people, though. The War Hounds were getting to her, slipping past her defenses one by one, and it was so very difficult to keep up with.
Case in point: her ass keeps getting handed to her all during morning training all because she has not found the proper attire to attend Brianna's party with. Same with a gift-- she still hasn't gotten her blademate one yet.
It's why she quit early on and running off her excess energy while she tried to think of ways to get rid of her distractions. ]
[In the meantime, Tala is entering the training hall at Kibo. She was looking to do some forms before she went back to work on some matters for the Whisperers of Zangyaku, and for Cerberus. It was always good to clear one's head before --
[ She turns to that familiar voice calling her and blinks. Because why would Tala Vega say hi to-- okay, no, she probably would call people out randomly. Probably. In a way, she now understands how Elias Tagabigay would drop his Pure Sovereign when it comes to his wife. ]
Thank you. [ She should probably mention she's been sparring with and learning new tricks from Dierdra lately. They were blade mates-- which probably means Tala already knows.
...But Tala was still there. ]
Was there something else? [ Not that she's driving her away or anything, just...! Socializing is weird, ok. ]
[ She blinks once. And since it wouldn't do her any good by lying... ]
...No. [ Her shoulders sag a little. It's been bothering her since Brianna's text invite, okay. She still has no idea what to wear-- or give Brianna. ]
Shall we... what? [ She's half-hoping that it isn't what she thinks it is, but if it was, then she... really, really needs help in that area. She's not exactly the type of girl Brianna is. ]
[ This... this was already overwhelming. Shopping? With Tala Vega? Again? Yulia isn't sure if she's ready for that, but... she only has one day--today--to prepare for Brianna's birthday, so... ]
[ Yulia doesn't even watch Tala go. She gets ready fast. The ten minutes isn't even up and she's standing outside, dressed out of her training clothes and into... her Netsach uniform. Zangyaku would stand out too much if they were just going shopping. ]
[ She takes the passenger seat and buckles up. Safety first, and all-- especially with how pulled up on the driveway; Yulia didn't think it was at all possible to maneuver a car in an angle like that. ]
[ Yulia definitely does not mind walking, and would probably prefer it over crazy driving. It's a good thing seatbelts were invented, but still. ]
Very good, so far. I am enjoying it more. [ ...probably because there were more people who were willing to have her as a sparring partner than back at Falner. ]
Well, to be fair to Netsach, you're yet to see those guys really in action. But I can get why a Zangyaku base would seem so different after spending some time at Falner.
[As things stood, Zangyaku was more Tala's thing anyway.]

Well. Hello there.]
Hi Yulia.
[Coming over with a smile.]

Hello. May I help you..?
no subject
(Not.)]
Oh, just admiring your form. You're pretty good with those.
[Not as good as a lot of other people that she's seen, but eh. She has impossibly high standards. (See: Inquisitor Deirdra Max-Reyes.]

Yep. Are you ready for Brianna's party tomorrow?
[So maybe she saw your thoughts floating all over your aura. Just maybe.]
no subject
...No. [ Her shoulders sag a little. It's been bothering her since Brianna's text invite, okay. She still has no idea what to wear-- or give Brianna. ]

Clapping her hands together.]
Then it's a good thing that I'm here! Shall we?

You are so totally Deirdra before she became a Real Girl.]
Shall we get out of this place and go shopping, silly! You're going to need clothes, shoes, make-up, maybe a cute bag...
[The list goes on and on.]
no subject
A-alright...

[And she's off. No saying no to this one.
It's a good thing she isn't dragging you off herself. (Yet.)]

Rolling down the window once her car pulls up really fast. Yeah, we all know who taught her how to drive.]
C'mon.

Where are we headed?
no subject
[No, she isn't, but Yulia doesn't really have a choice.
Aaand speeding off~]
So! How has Kibo been treating you?
no subject
Very good, so far. I am enjoying it more. [ ...probably because there were more people who were willing to have her as a sparring partner than back at Falner. ]

[Sparing her a glance and an amused look from over her shades.]
no subject
Yes.
no subject
Why? Is it too slow for you down there? Too nice?
no subject
[ It was the same at Jotunheim. Probably worse, there. ]
And men there are too intimidated by Russian woman with knives. [ s h r u g ]

[ No duh. ]

[Winking now, then turning her gaze back to the road.]
I am SO happy that people in this country know how to drive now. It was crazy back then.
[Now Tala's one of the only crazy people on the road.]
no subject
I never would have guessed.
[ These seatbelts better hold. ]
